Our reputation and commitment to Newham have created an expectation of us and we are always aware of the responsibility we shoulder. We have been very successful and can point to work we have undertaken which has had a powerful impact on the community, but we can never and must never be complacent. Whilst not inventing the wheel every time we take on new work, we also do not take it for granted that what has worked in the past will automatically work again. We must always look for the most effective solution for each individual project, the one which will have the best outcome for the community.

In terms of our organisation, we again do not sit back and rely on our past successes. We constantly monitor our work and effectiveness and if necessary, make changes to our structure and our working methods. It is a constantly changing world and we must keep ahead of, or at least abreast with, developments so that we can always offer the best service to the people of Newham.

Key to our continued success is our staff and volunteer team, the majority of whom are from east London . They have a wealth of local knowledge coupled with a vast range of specialised sector knowledge and networks.
