Different Generations – Honest Conversations – Shared Community
‘Across the Table’ is our new six-week intergenerational programme bringing together children, young people and older adults through stories, creativity and conversation.
Share your life experience, meet new people, and help young generations feel seen, heard, and connected.
Across the Table is delivered through the Breaking Boundaries Collective and will bring together children and young people aged 5–21 and older adults to share stories, build confidence, take part in creative activities and learn from one another.
The programme will explore conversation, identity, community and heritage, with participants working together towards a final creative showcase.
We are currently looking for:
- – Children and young people aged 5–21
- – Older adults interested in meeting and sharing experiences with younger generations
- – Families, carers and community members who may know someone suitable

Dates and times are currently TBC and will be confirmed with registered participants. Parent or carer consent will be required for anyone under 18.
