There are over 85,000 children and young people living in Newham, our aim is to create a vibrant and inclusive environment so that young people can become successful and active citizens contributing to their communities. We have a free leadership and social action programme called: Youth4Youth where young people get the opportunity to network, gain skills such as public speaking and create their own social impact project. We are proud of our work in developing challenging young people to become young leaders through our programmes and we are currently working with London Youth to gain accreditation through their quality assurance framework.
The national youth groups have created a website with a range of resources which are being developed at speed so please signpost your groups to this for guidance and updates: https://youthworksupport.co.uk/
