As part of our well-being series, Aston-Mansfield, in conjunction with Mind, ran a series of Men’s Art Workshops that utilised art as an outlet for creativity, self-expression and well-being practice.

Local artist Raymond Daley explored art history and art techniques such as still life drawing, portraits, narrative painting, and collages with the group.

"Therapeutic and relaxing, thoroughly enjoyed it, and I hope you continue to do more things like this."

The co-facilitator was Mind Community Connector, Petrus Burin, supported by Aston-Mansfield’s Community Connector, Trevor Sylvestor, and peer support worker Roderic Duvigneau.

With additional support from Senior Community Connector Eliana Cardoso.

Each participant received a goodie bag with art supplies to continue creating art at home.

We have more well-being group workshops planned for the rest of the year.
