Aston-Mansfield Staff, Trustees and Volunteers at our Away Day 2022

“I’m absolutely delighted to be joining Aston-Mansfield as their new Chief Executive.

As someone who grew up in East London and has spent most of my professional, volunteer, church, and personal life here, this role feels deeply meaningful to me. East London is home — and I’m honoured to serve the communities that have shaped so much of who I am.

I’ve long admired the incredible work of this centre, and I’m inspired by the dedication of the staff and volunteer team. Their commitment to supporting local people is what makes this organisation such a vital part of our community.

I’m excited about the journey ahead. Over the coming months, we’ll be developing a refreshed strategy with a clear focus on the needs, hopes, and priorities of our local communities. We’ll be reaching out to listen — to hear directly from you about how we can better support, respond, and grow together.

I’m also looking forward to working closely with local councils, partners, and other community groups to strengthen collaboration and impact.

This is an exciting time for Aston-Mansfield, and I can’t wait to get started. Thank you for the warm welcome — I look forward to meeting many of you very soon.”
