Are you trained in Self-Defence? Can you teach someone else to use a sewing machine? Do you feel you could help someone else write a CV?

We need your skills, talents and passion!

We work with children, young people and families from the local community every week  through our targeted groups and offering space for the local community to meet. We are committed to providing learning opportunities which enhance people's lives and help them to develop new skills and confidences.

Each week our groups work with some of the most vulnerable children and young people in Newham. We have targeted groups working with children, LGBTQ young people, young disabled people and those at risk of anti-social behaviour. We are looking for people to come and share their talents and enhance the opportunities on offer for the children and young people we work with.

We are looking for individuals with an interest in areas such as sports, art, education or career development to showcase and share their talent with our groups. You could offer a practical workshop on how to fix a bike, deliver a talk about how to get your first job, support a show and tell session. Whatever you think you are able to offer - we are interested in hearing from you.

Activities will aim to create a vibrant and inclusive learning environment helping young people to become successful and active citizens contributing to their communities. Volunteers will be supported by the children’s and youth work teams.

This role would suit you if you:

Have a passion, skill or interest that you would like to share with our young people

We will reimburse out-of-pocket expenses up to our current maximum.
